But you may think, why would you want to Install WordPress Locally?
Normally if you want to build a WordPress website you need to buy a domain, hosting and then launch your live website. So if you don’t want to launch a live website but you want to test and learn WordPress you can use WordPress Locally.
So, When you install WordPress locally all your websites files will be saved on your computer, and this means only you will be able to access your website. Now, this is a great way for you to learn making WordPress websites for free of cost.
And, Once you have built your WordPress website locally, you can move it to a live website. You can follow this article to move your local website into a live website.
Install WordPress Locally on your Computer
In order to Install WordPress Locally on your Computer, we are going to use a software called Bitnami. To Download the Bitnami WordPress Software, visit this link:- bitnami.com/stack/wordpress/installer
Then select your desired Operating system and download it.
After the download is completed, normally install the Bitnami WordPress Software, until you reach this page.
This is the page where we need to enter the login details of our local WordPress site. Enter your Name, Email address, WordPress username, and password. Make sure you remember the username and password as you will be needing those to login into your local WordPress site.
Then simply finish the Bitnami WordPress installation process. After the installation process is completed you will be redirected to a page like this. On this page click on Access WordPress to visit your local WordPress website.
